Started by entrepreneurial students from Kingston University, London – the number one university for student and graduate start-ups in the UK, and with support from University of Surrey – home of the Centre for the Digital Economy (CoDE) and SETsquared, the world’s best Business Incubator, NASE in partnership with Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and DraperDarkFlow, a silicon valley VC fund that invests in African startups, proudly brings you our 3rd Leap Conference.

WHAT IS THE LEAP CONFERENCE?

The two-day Leap Conference, which is one of the key events in the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations in Uganda, draws together over 400 youth, graduates and enterprising students from Uganda’s top Universities for a 2-day intensive programme of practical support for identifying and developing business ideas. As the name suggets, the Leap Conference is designed to challenge and inspire the youth to literally take the “Leap” into the world of business and entrepreneurship.

As well as a unique opportunity to network with a diverse range of young people from a variety of backgrounds, the Leap Conference, which happens once a year, features practical games and business simulations, seasoned and world class entrepreneurs, mentors, speakers panellists – prepare to be inspired.
